A mixture of soothing ingredients such as lavender or a nourishing oil ensures your skin doesn’t feel overly dry or stripped, making it a perfect mid-week booster.

Deep Hydrating Masks  

Another mask type we can’t recommend enough for everyone to have in their collection is deep hydrating masks. An easy mistake is believing that only dry skin types need hydrating masks to compensate, but we all need hydration, no matter our skin type.

What Is It Good For?

As the name suggests, deep hydrating masks are highly beneficial in restoring moisture to our skin and helping it feel plump and supple again.

Our skin naturally produces hyaluronic acid, but as with other skin substances, over time, this production decreases. It’s important to ensure your skin is adequately hydrated, even if you have oily skin. Keeping your skin hydrated helps to ensure that you maintain your skin’s elasticity and water absorption.

Many people who believe they have oily skin are more prone to dehydrated skin, so their skin compensates by overproducing sebum. Hydrating our skin to its proper level can help with oil production in the long term.

Who Can Use It?

All skin types can use this wonderfully soothing mask — dry, combination, and even oily. Best of all, this is a perfect overnight mask to use so that while you sleep, your skin is soaking in all the incredible ingredients in hydrating masks, such as aloe vera, rosewater, and even cucumber extract.

These are gentle enough to the skin that you can use them a few times a week, whether during the day, as a moisturizer, or at night, as an overnight mask.
